Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a male adult. The incident was reported Friday, June 10, 2022, at approximately 5:20 a.m. near Somerset Boulevard and San Jose Avenue in Paramount.
Compton Sheriff Station and LA County Fire Department responded to Somerset Boulevard on the bridge over the LA River, regarding a traffic collision call. The call indicated a vehicle had struck a pedestrian. Upon arriving, deputies discovered a male Hispanic victim in his 30’s suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time it is unknown what led to the incident.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time.
