#LASD SVB Seeking Public’s Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Sexual Assault Incident, #ElMonte
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau is investigating allegation(s) of sexual abuse of two girls by 69-year-old, Jesus Ramirez-Ramirez. The incidents occurred between 2011-2012 when Mr. Ramirez lived in the City of South El Monte.
Mr. Ramirez was arrested on April 26, 2022 and remains in custody. On April 28, 2022, the Los Angeles County District Attorney Office filed three felony counts of Lewd Acts with a Child and is being held on $1,300,000 bail.
Based on the nature of the allegation and the proximity of Mr. Ramirez’s residence to children, detectives believe there may be additional unidentified victims. Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying any such victims.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department - Special Victims Bureau is tasked with investigating the sexual and physical abuse of children and felonious sexual assaults involving adult victims.
