Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a black man in Los Angeles.
Deputies from South Los Angeles Station responded to a home in the 2100 block of West 108th Street at 11:05 AM this morning regarding a call of a gunshot victim. Upon arriving they discovered the victim lying unresponsive in the backyard of the home.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time and the murder weapon remains outstanding.
This shooting does not appear to be gang related.
