INDIANAPOLIS-On Saturday, March 5, 2022, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers were in the area of Westfield Boulevard and Guilford Avenue on routine patrol when they heard several shots being fired. Shortly after, officers located an adult female with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound(s) and quickly provided medical aid. Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS) responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in serious condition.
IMPD aggravated assault detectives responded and began an investigation. Detectives have identified two persons of interest to whom they would like to speak to. Detectives believe these men may have information about what lead up to the shooting. Both males are depicted in the attached photos.
