Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man. The incident was reported Sunday, April 3, 2022, at approximately 7:38 PM, near the intersection of 11th St East and Avenue Q 12, in the city of Palmdale.
Deputies from the Palmdale Sheriff's Station responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon their arrival, deputies located the victim, a male Hispanic adult suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
He was transported to a local area hospital where he pronounced deceased.
Detectives are canvasing the area for possible video and or witnesses.
