On March 4, 2022, Sheriff’s Gang Unit (SGU) detectives conducted a probation search, which resulted in the arrest of a probationer and recovery of a firearm at a residence in Oxnard. On March 4, 2022, at approximately 1103 hours, SGU detectives conducted a probation search of Enrique Magallon Jr. at his residence located in the 3500 block of Orange Drive in the unincorporated area of Oxnard known as Nyeland Acres. Magallon is on active probation with search terms and he is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms as a result of his probation conditions. He was booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility in Ventura. Subsequently, felony charges were formally filed against Magallon and he remains in jail custody with his bail set at $30,000.
