Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a Hispanic man in East Los Angeles.
Deputies from East Los Angeles Station responded to a house in the 600 block of Woods Avenue in unincorporated Los Angeles just before 3:00 PM this afternoon regarding a medical rescue call.
Upon arriving they discovered the victim inside a bedroom within home suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time. The murder weapon remains outstanding.
This shooting is being investigated as gang related. There is no further information being released at this time.
