Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a 33 year old white male in Lancaster.
 
Deputies responded to a home in the 45300 block of 48th Street West regarding a gunshot victim call at 5:18 AM today. Upon arriving they discovered the unresponsive victim seated in a pickup truck parked on the property.  The victim suffered apparent gunshot wounds. 
 
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time. 
 
The murder weapon remains outstanding. 
 
It is unknown if this shooting is gang related.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at approximately 5:18 a.m., at the 45300 Blk of 48th Street West, Lancaster.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
