The Washington Township Police Department has an important message for the community!
The Washington Township Police Department along with the Waynesboro Police Department and the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce have booster seats available to the public for $12.00.
The booster seats are designed for children from age four and 40 pounds to at least age 8.
Pennsylvania law requires children under four ride in an approved child safety seat. Children four to under eight are required to be in a booster seat. Children should also ride in the back seat whenever possible because they could be injured by air bags in an accident.
The booster seats are available at the Washington Township Police Department, 13013 Welty Road and the Waynesboro Police Department, 57 East Main Street Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:30. The cost is $12.00 each.
