Narrative:
 
 
On 11/15/21 and 11/30/21, the Ojai Unified School District Nordhoff High School campus was vandalized with spray paint causing several thousand dollars damage.  The lone suspect was captured on school security video.  Detectives with the Ojai Police Department initiated an investigation with the help of Ojai Patrol.  During the investigation, Rufus Stoll aka Rufus Summer was identified as a suspect in both graffiti vandalisms.  
 
On 2/2/22, Detectives obtained and served a search warrant for a property in the 10500 block of Sulphur Mountain Road in the unincorporated area of Ojai.  During the service of the search warrant, Rufus Stoll was detained and evidence linking him to the vandalisms was recovered. 
 
Rufus Stoll was arrested for two counts of Penal Code Section 594(b)(1)- Vandalism exceeding $400 damage and booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility.  On 2/4/22, the Ventura County District Attorney filed one count of felony vandalism and one count of misdemeanor vandalism.  Rufus Stoll remains in custody on $10,000.00 bail.
