During the investigation, Detectives located Silerio in the 1000 block of S. J Street in the city of Oxnard, conducting illegal drug transactions. DEU deputies and SED detectives contacted Silerio and found him to be in possession of narcotics and a loaded unregistered firearm. Unregistered firearms such as the one seized are commonly referred to as “Ghost Guns” because they are illegally manufactured firearms that lack serial numbers or markings.

SED detectives obtained and executed a signed search warrant for Silerio’s residence, located in the 1000 block of S. Oxnard Blvd, in Oxnard.  Detectives also seized additional items pertaining to the investigation.

Detectives arrested Silerio for possession of a controlled substance with a loaded firearm, possession for sales of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance with a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle, unlawful transfer of a firearm, drug addict in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon. Silerio was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail and has a $50,000 bail. He is scheduled for court on February 7, 2022.

The Camarillo Special Enforcement Detail is comprised of six plain clothes detectives who focus on efforts that negatively affect the quality of life of the law-abiding citizens of Camarillo. The goal of Camarillo SED is to reduce property and violent crime through investigations and direct enforcement.
