Homicide Detectives Will Announce a $10,000 Reward in Exchange for Information About The Murder of 16 year-old Ricardo Trujillo
 
 
Who:            Lieutenant Brandon Dean, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau; and family members of the victim.
                   
What:         Homicide Bureau detectives will announce a $10,000 reward, sponsored by
Supervisor Holly Mitchell, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Second District, and approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.  The money reward will be offered in exchange for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the shooting death of the victim.
 
On Friday, September 24, 2021, at approximately 11:45 p.m., 16 year-old Ricardo Trujillo was leaving a party with his friends in the city of Compton, when they were confronted by a group of individuals. One of the suspects pulled out a firearm and shot Ricardo, who sadly succumbed to his injuries.
 
Detectives and Ricardo’s family members will be in attendance and will plead the public’s assistance in providing any information that will lead to those responsible for the murder of Ricardo.
