INCIDENT: Barricaded Armed Suspect

LOCATION: 42000 block of 61st St. West, Quartz Hill
SUSPECT: Male Hispanic Adult
UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau- Lt. Sue Burakowski
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Lancaster Station with an armed barricaded suspect.
The incident was reported Monday, January 17, 2022 at approximately 7:47 a.m. on the 42000 block of 61st St. West in Quartz Hill. SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) are enroute and will attempt to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful resolution.
