INCIDENT: PC 245(A)(1) - Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 600 Block of Parker Dam Rd, Parker Dam, CA
SUSPECT(S): Deanna Hitchcock, 58 years old, Resident of Parker, AZ
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, January 05, 2022, at approximately 3:49 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a report of an assault that occurred in the 600 block of Parker Dam Rd.
Deputies arrived on scene and found the victim had been assaulted with a knife during an argument with the suspect, Deanna Hitchcock. The victim suffered serious injury, requiring deputies to render first aide. The victim was ultimately airlifted to a nearby medical center for treatment.
Hitchcock was consequently arrested for PC 245 (a) (1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Hitchcock was transported and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $50,000.00. Hitchcock remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department awaiting a court hearing.
