Murder Suspect Arrested. 
Ontario, CA – The Ontario Police Department has arrested suspect Nicholas Urrutia, who is believed to be responsible for a homicide that occurred at a bar in the 1200 block of N. Vineyard Ave.
On December 28, 2021, at approximately 12:30 AM, Urrutia and the victim engaged in an argument which escalated into a physical fight. During the fight, Urrutia stabbed the victim multiple times. Urrutia fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Responding officers rendered medical aid to the victim, a 51-year-old male from Ontario. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Urrutia, a 41-year-old male from Ontario, was arrested at Motel 6, 231 N. Vineyard Ave., on December 28, 2021. Urrutia has been booked at West Valley Detention Center on the charge of murder.
