NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are assisting El Monte Police Department regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Monday, December 27, 2021, at approximately 12:50 a.m., on the 2600 block of Gage Avenue in South El Monte.
The male adult victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
