**UPDATE** #LASD Homicide Detectives Responding to a Stabbing Death Investigation, 700 block of W. Kettering Street, Lancaster

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the stabbing death of a white male in his 20’s in Lancaster. 

Deputies from Lancaster Station responded to the American Heroes Park regarding a stabbing victim call at 2:57 PM today. Upon arriving they discovered the victim unresponsive on the sidewalk suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. 
Investigators learned the victim had been in an argument with an unknown male Black suspect in the park. The male stabbed the victim before fleeing on foot, southbound Fern Avenue out of sight. 
The murder weapon remains outstanding. 
It is unknown if this stabbing is gang related. 

There is no further infomrmation at this time.

NARRATIVE:  
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 700 block of W. Kettering Street, Lancaster (American Heroes Park) regarding a stabbing death investigation. The incident occurred on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021 at approximately 2:57 p.m.
 
The male adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
