SUSPECT: Jonathan Atkins, 25-years-old, of Adelanto
Ashley Lounderman, 37-years-old, of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 2:01am, deputies responded to a robbery at the Shell Station located at 11272 Palmdale Road in Adelanto.
According to a female clerk, an adult male came into the business and walked around the counter. The suspect then grabbed four bottles of tequila off the shelf. When she tried to stop him, he grabbed her and threw her to the ground. The suspect left the location, entered a vehicle occupied by a female adult, and they drove away.
Deputies were able to locate the suspects, identified as Jonathan Atkins and Ashley Lounderman. Alcohol stolen from the Shell Station and a loaded firearm were found inside the vehicle. Lounderman was charged with accessory and concealing a loaded firearm. Atkins was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and robbery. Atkins was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
Both suspects were booked at the High Desert Detention Center. Jonathan Atkins is being held in lieu of $175,000.00 bail. Ashley Lounderman is being held in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
