Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a White, male adult. The incident was reported Sunday, November 14, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m., near the 9500 block of Dork Street in the city of Pico Rivera.
Pico Rivera Sheriff Deputies responded to the 9500 block of Dork Street in the city of Pico Rivera regarding a traffic collision, possible hit and run. When they arrived, they discovered a vehicle with a male adult sitting in the driver’s seat who was unresponsive. Deputies immediately removed the individual to begin life saving measures and they learned the male was suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Deputies continued to administer lifesaving efforts but he was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
Deputies are canvassing the area to gather any potential witnesses and possible surveillance video.
