Robbers captured!
On October 11, 2021, at approximately 2330 hours, a male subject was at the Wescom Credit Union ATM when he was robbed at gunpoint. The suspects were a male and female who fled the scene in a black Nissan sedan. The victim was not hurt.
About an hour later, a Simi Valley officer spotted the suspects who were parked in their vehicle in the 1200 block of Los Angeles Ave. This was in a shopping area where all the businesses were closed.
The suspects quickly fled the area when spotted. The officer gave chase as they entered the 118 freeway. The suspects drove in an erratic manner and at a high rate of speed before eventually giving up near Kuehner Dr.
Evidence inside the car linked both suspects to the robbery.
Daniel Nolasco (18 yrs) and Yxcelline Serafin (20 yrs), both from Los Angeles, were later booked on charges of robbery and cconspiracy.
