**UPDATE**#LASD Special Enforcement Bureau Responded to a Barricaded Suspect, 6500 Block of Holmes Ave, Unincorporated Los Angeles
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) has concluded their tactical response regarding the barricaded suspect on the 6500 Block of Holmes Avenue in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles.
The Incident was reported at approximately 4:05 p.m. Century Sheriff’s Station received three separate assault with a deadly weapon "just occurred" calls for service involving three separate victims.
Deputy personnel gathered information of the vehicle involved in the calls.
Moments later, Century Station deputies spotted the vehicle and attempted to detain the driver.
The driver exited the vehicle and ran into a local liquor store where he barricaded himself.
Three civilians were in the store at the time of the incident.
After several hours, the three civilians were safely evacuated from the store by the Special Enforcement Bureau.
The suspect surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Century Station with a barricaded suspect. The incident was reported Friday, October 8, 2021 at approximately 4:05 p.m. on the 6500 Block of Holmes Avenue in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) will attempt to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful resolution.
