Juvenile Arrested at West High School for terroristic threats today 
At 12:16 PM on October 08, 2021, an officer assigned to the Anchorage Police Department School Resource Unit (SRO) responded to West High School for a report from a staff member that a student had made threats via social media to “shoot up” the school.
The student’s parents were notified; charges were forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Justice. The juvenile was remanded to the McLaughlin Youth Center on charges of terroristic threats.
There were no injuries reported at the school.
