Jong Park Arrested by Chino Hills Police Detectives After Kidnapping and Torturing a Woman

INCIDENT: Torture / Kidnapping / False Imprisonment / Assault with Great Bodily Injury
LOCATION: 3200 Block of Hillview Drive South, Chino
SUSPECT(S): Jong Park, 41-years-old, Resident of Chino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, detectives at the Chino Hills Station were notified of a female who entered an emergency room with severe injuries. The female reported she was a victim of domestic violence and held against her will.
Detectives learned the victim was bound with restraints and tortured for several days. Detectives worked closely with patrol and the Multiple Enforcement Team to locate and arrest the suspect, Jong Park.
On Thursday, October 7, 2021, a search warrant was served at Park's residence in Chino, where he was arrested.
Park was tansported to the West Valley Detention Center and booked for the above mentioned charges. He remains in custody on $750,000 bail.
