Dear Taxpayer:
 
The 2021 final / 2022 preliminary tax bill (blue & white) will be mailed within the next 7 days. The due date for the fourth quarter is November 1, 2021, the first quarter of 2022 is February 1, 2022, and the second quarter of 2022 is May 1, 2022.  The governing body has provided for a ten (10) day grace period after each of these due dates.  If the payment is not received in the Tax Collector’s Office on or before the 10^th day, the quarter will be considered delinquent and interest at 8% & 18% will be charged from the quarterly due date.  Postmarks are not accepted.
 
The quarterly amounts are available on our website.  You will be able to view and/or pay your account online.  There is a $1.95 fee to pay by e-check or a 2.95% fee to pay by credit card.  Visit our website at www.southbrunswicknj.gov/departments/tax-collections
 
IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN THE ACH DEBIT PLAN FOR PAYMENT OF PROPERTY TAXES, IT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT ON EACH QUARTERLY DUE DATE.  IF THE QUARTERLY DUE DATE IS ON A WEEKEND/HOLIDAY, THE ACH WILL BE DEBITED ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY.  IF YOU WISH TO ENROLL, PLEASE CONTACT THIS OFFICE FOR AN ENROLLMENT FORM.
 
If you are receiving an advice tax bill, then the original tax bill was sent to your mortgage company for payment.  If you no longer have a mortgage company, you can still use these bills/stubs to pay.
 
We also have a dropbox for payments (check/money order/cashier check) only.  Payment must be received by 12:00 noon to be posted for the current day.  Payments put in the dropbox after 12:00 noon will be posted the next business day.
