NARRATIVE:
Pomona Police Officers are investigating a possible self-defense shooting. The adult male victim was in the 500 block of E. Franklin Ave. when he was confronted by a male adult suspect armed with a handgun. The suspect attempted to rob the victim. The suspect was shot and shortly thereafter transported to a local hospital for treatment, he is in stable condition. The suspect’s handgun was recovered. Other than the suspect, no one else was physically injured during this incident. This investigation is ongoing.
