On September 29th, 2021 at 7:17 PM, APD officers were dispatched to a shooting inside of an apartment at 1550 Bell Street. Officers found a male subject who had been shot at that location. The injured male was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. Detectives spoke to witnesses who were inside the apartment when the shooting occurred and a suspect was identified. Dylan Mims, a 20-year-old male who was still at the scene, was arrested and booked into Potter County Detention Center on the charge of Manslaughter.
