Narrative:
 
Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Street Team targeted the drug trafficking activities of a local resident. During the investigation, detectives determined Anthony Aguilar was street level narcotics trafficker operating throughout Ventura County.  Detectives obtained a search warrant for Aguilar’s person, vehicle, and a commercial business he was utilizing to further his drug trafficking activities.
 
On September 10, 2021, Deputies contacted Aguilar in the City of Ojai.  Aguilar was detained pursuant to the search warrant and subsequently arrested on narcotic sales charges.
 
A search warrant was later conducted at a commercial business located in the 1500 block of Morse Avenue in Ventura. Detectives seized Cocaine, Farmapram pills (generic for Xanax), marijuana, a loaded 9-mm handgun and U.S. currency of suspected drug proceeds.  The quantities of the drugs and paraphernalia were consistent with a drugs sales operation.  Based on the investigation, Aguilar was arrested for various narcotics sales related violations. Aguilar was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail in lieu $500.000.00 bail.
