On September 22nd, at 7:59 AM, Amarillo Police Officers responded to person shot inside of a residence in the 1100 block of Trigg Street. Officers located the victim in the house and attempted life saving measures. The victim, Carlos Felipe Ruiz, 38-year-old male, died at the scene. The APD Homicide Unit is investigating the case. On Wednesday September 22nd at 7:59 AM, APD officers were called to a medical call in the 1100 block of Trigg Street. As officers responded they were told that a male inside of a residence had possibly been shot. Officers located a male inside of the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. The male died at the scene. The Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating this incident.
