INCIDENT: Vehicle Registration Fraud
LOCATION: E Street / Downey Street
SUSPECT(S): Luke Harvey, 27 year old resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, September 16, 2021, at approximately 4:49 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of E St. and Downey St. During a records check of the vehicle, it was discovered the vehicle displayed a false license plate. The driver, Luke Harvey was taken into custody without incident. Harvey was arrested and booked into the Needles Jail for CVC 4463(A)(2), Vehicle Registration Fraud, where he is currently being held on a $25,000 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
