All non-essential travel restricted; State of Emergency continues
The State of Emergency remains in place. The City is still impacted by substantial flooding. All non-essential travel is restricted through the morning rush hour. Vehicles obstructing traffic will be towed. Only emergency vehicles are permitted on the roadways.
All construction activity requiring outside Police employment is suspended within the City. Street cleaning and alternate side parking is suspended. Due to severe flooding throughout the region, garbage collection could not occur as scheduled. It will resume as soon as possible. The Department of Environmental Services is removing debris from the roadways as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience.
