| Narrative: |
During the early morning hours of August 21st, at approximately 1:40am, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s – Moorpark Patrol Station responded to a call of a large party in the 14400 Block of East Rutgers Circle. Multiple callers reported seeing people fighting in the area and hearing several gunshots. When deputies arrived, they found evidence that a handgun had been fired several times. However, there were no gunshot victims on scene and there were several uncooperative witnesses.
Detectives are seeking assistance from the public regarding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Moorpark Police Station at (805) 532-2716. Members of the public can also provide information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477). Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information, which leads to the arrest and criminal complaint against the person(s) responsible for this crime. |
