NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators responded to a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at approximately 8:58 P.M., on the 4200 block of East San Luis St., unincorporated Compton.
Deputies from the Compton station responded to the location and found a fourteen year old male Hispanic suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
The investigation revealed the family discovered the juvenile was missing on Sunday, August 8. On Monday, August 9, the family reported him missing to the Sheriff's Department. While searching the area for his son on Tuesday, August 10, the father located him inside of a travel trailer parked in the alley.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
