On July 19, 2021, Monday at approximately 1:20 P.M. deputies from South L.A. Sheriff Station responded to the 4700 hundred block of West 167th Street, in Lawndale, regarding a gunshot victim call.
Upon their arrival, they found a male Hispanic juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The suspect was last seen on foot on 167th Street and out of view.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 4700 block of 167th street, in the city of Lawndale regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Monday, July 19, 2021 at approximately 1:20 p.m.
The male adult victim was transported to a local hospital where he died at a later time.
