Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male adult, that occurred at about 3:25 this morning. Lancaster deputies received a person with a knife, possible stabbing assault call at the 2700 block of West Newgrove St, Lancaster.
 
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male black approximately 20-22 years old suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department Paramedics arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

A vehicle was heard speeding away from the location in an unknown direction. It is unknown if this incident was gang related.

NARRATIVE:  

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to a shooting death investigation that occurred at the 2700 block of West New Grove St, Lancaster.

 The incident occurred Friday, July 2^nd, 2021 at approximately 03:25 AM.
 
The male adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
