Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Street Team received information that Kenneth Ross was involved in narcotics sales. Ross was on active Ventura County Probation with full search terms. Detectives also learned Ross had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for his arrest out of Ventura County Superior Court.
On June 30, 2021, Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Headquarters Patrol Station, contacted and arrested Ross for the outstanding warrant. Following his arrest, Headquarters Patrol Deputies along with Narcotics Detectives conducted a probation search Ross’ residence located in the 8500 Block of Truckee Drive and on a utility, trailer parked in a public storage site located in the 100 Block of Mallard Way, City of Oxnard.
During the search, Detectives seized over two pounds of methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medication and drug paraphernalia. The quantities of the drugs and paraphernalia were consistent with a drugs sales operation.
Based on the investigation, Ross was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail for the misdemeanor warrant and various drug related charges.
