Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death investigation of three small juveniles at the 600 block of Ferris Ave, East Los Angeles
 
Deputies from East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded to the location at the 12:45 PM this afternoon regarding a rescue call which indicated there were two small children not breathing at the location.  .

Upon arrival, they were directed inside the residence where they discovered three unresponsive children all under the ages of 3 years old, two males and one female. 

Deputies and Paramedics attempted lifesaving efforts and the three children were subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.

The biological mother of the children, a 28 year old female Hispanic, was detained and is currently being questioned regarding the incident.

Preliminary information revealed no prior reports of abuse or child neglect to this location or the involved individuals.

Homicide Investigators are processing the scene, collecting evidence, and are conducting interviews of family members and potential witnesses.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to a suspicious death investigation. The incident was reported Monday, June 28, 2021, at approximately 12:45 PM, on the 600 block of Ferris Ave, East Los Angeles

The victims juveniles were pronounced dead at the scene.
