Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 300 block of Newmark Avenue, in the city of Monterey Park regarding an officer involved shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Monday, May 17, 2021 at approximately 4:59 p.m.
The male adult was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
