Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man. The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at approximately 7:20 p.m. on the 44200 block of Cedar Avenue, Lancaster.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide investigators have learned that personnel from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station received a call for service regarding a “Gun Shot Victim”. Deputies responded to the location and upon arrival they found a male Black adult suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation is on-going.
