The deceased subject from the early morning shooting has been identified as Uvante Aujshemaon Douglas, a 20-year-old male. The 19-year-old is recovering from his injuries. This case remains under investigation by the Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit. On 4-8-21 at 1:50 AM, Amarillo Police officers were dispatched to Guitars and Cadillacs, 3601 Olsen Boulevard, on a shooting. Two males at the scene had gunshot wounds and were taken to a local hospital. A 20-year-old male died from injuries sustained. A 19-year-old male received non life threatening injuries.
