*UPDATE* LASD Homicide Detectives Responded to Vehicular Death Investigation, 11600blk San Vicente Bl Unicorp West LA

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man and injury of another. The incident occurred Sunday, April 4, 2021 at approximately 12:05 a.m., on the 11600 block of San Vicente Boulevard in the unincorporated area of West Los Angeles within the Federal Enclave. 
 
Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) received the original call for service of an assault with a deadly weapon (vehicle), hit and run. Two male adults were struck by the suspect vehicle. During the course of the incident, one of the victims was dragged for over 200 yards and sustained fatal injuries.
 
LAPD officers located the suspect in his vehicle a few blocks away, initiated a pursuit and a short time later took the suspect into custody. 
 
It was determined this incident was within the jurisdiction of West Hollywood Sheriff's Station. West Hollywood Station responded and contacted our Homicide Bureau to assume control of the investigation.
 
Investigators learned the suspect and deceased victim were involved in a verbal argument prior to the incident. The suspect then got into his vehicle and deliberately used his vehicle to assault both victims, leaving one of them dead.
 
The deceased victim is a male White 51 years-old.
 
The additional victim, male Hispanic 36 years-old, was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
 
The suspect and victims are all transients that live at the Federal Enclave adjacent to the Veterans Administration at the location.
 
Suspect Pedro Flores is a male Hispanic 34 years-old. He has been booked at West Hollywood Station for murder and assault with a deadly weapon. He’s being held in lieu of $2,000,000 bail.
