Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female adult in the city of Maywood.
Deputies from the East LA station responded to a call for service Saturday, April 3, 2021, at approximately 9:46 PM, on the 3700 block of E. 56th St., Maywood, regarding two gunshot victims. When deputies arrived, they discovered a Hispanic male adult and Hispanic female adult suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to a local area hospital where the female was pronounced dead. The male adult is being treated for a gunshot wound to the torso.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.
