NARRATIVE:  
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 1500 block of Kay Street, Compton regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at approximately 12:04 a.m.
 
A male adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
