This is an advisory message to anyone who may be traveling through or visiting downtown Princeton this Saturday.
There is a rally/vigil organized by multiple local organizations to "Stand Against Asian Hate." The event will take place in Hinds Plaza (near the Princeton Library) from 1 pm to 3 pm. We anticipate a large turnout for this event, and there will most likely be road closures implemented in the area.
Witherspoon Street between Paul Robeson and Spring Street, as well as Hulfish Street between Palmer Square East and Witherspoon Street are anticipated to be closed.
(A map is attached with the red areas showing road closure points)
Attendees are encouraged to wear masks/face coverings and practice social distancing.
All of the local restaurants/stores are open and access to the downtown parking garages will be maintained.
Instructions:
Motorists should avoid the area if possible. Please use caution as there will be extra pedestrians in the downtown area.
