2021 Annual Alarm Renewals 
West Windsor Township Ordinance requires all private residential or business alarms with any type of an alarm-activating equipment system that is monitored by a central station to be registered with the West Windsor Police Records Department on an annual basis. For your information, a copy of the Township ordinance regulating alarm systems is located on the West Windsor Township website (http://www.westwindsornj.org) under codebook. The annual Alarm Renewals are due by March 31. The updated renewal application and payment of $25.00 must be submitted together. Failure to respond by the due date can result in an unregistered alarm summons and/or late fees to be issued.
The Alarm Registration applications can be located on the West Windsor Police website: westwindsorpolice.com. To obtain a printable renewal or new alarm application on the website: Click on “Registrations” then “Burglar Alarms” and then “Alarm Renewal” or “here” for new Alarm registration form.
Please mail the alarm application/payment by mail to: West Windsor Police Dept. - P.O. Box 38, Attn: Records, West Windsor, N.J. 08550. Check or money order made payable to: West Windsor Township. The Records Department window is closed to the public due to Covid-19, however, to submit in person a drop off box for Alarm payments is located inside the Police Headquarters lobby area. The address is: 271 Clarksville Road/open 24 hours. No On-line or electronic payment is available. If you no longer have an active alarm system, please contact the Records Department so we may cancel your registration.
