Media Release - Borderline After Action Report
Nature of Incident: | Borderline shooting after-action report | ||
Narrative: | |||
The shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill in November 2018 was a tragic event that has had lasting effects felt beyond the boundaries of Thousand Oaks and Ventura County. As with any major incident, it is important that we look not only at what occurred, but how we can better prepare and respond to similar situations in the future. The sheriff’s office has prepared an after-action report detailing the sequence of events, lessons learned and areas that can be improved upon. As always, our thoughts are with the victims and the families of those who were there that night. The report can be found via this link: https://www.venturasheriff.org/public-resources/reports/ |
