Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Detail arrested Charmaine Gray of Highland for willful child endangerment

SUSPECT: Charmaine Gray, 25-years-old, resident of Highland
SUMMARY:
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Specialized Investigations Division - Crimes Against Children Detail, Riverside Sheriff’s Department, Highland Station deputies and Children and Family Services began an investigation on Charmaine Gray after the victim, a 3-year-old female, was taken to Riverside University Health System Medical Center with 2nd degree burns to her arm.
On Thursday, March 4, 2021, Crimes Against Children Detail contacted all involved parties including the victim, who had burn scars on her arm. During the course of our investigation it was found that Gray inflicted 2nd degree burns to the victim’s arm and failed to provide medical care for the victim. Charmaine Gray was arrested for PC273a(a) willful child endangerment. Gray was booked at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino and is being held on $100,000 bail.
