Narrative:
 
Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to the City of Ojai responded to a 911 call of subjects fighting at 103 Canada Street. Upon arrival deputies located the victim of a stabbing incident.
 
On March 3, 2021, at about 12:33 PM, the Sheriff’s Communication Center received a 911 call reporting two subjects involved in a physical altercation in front of the business located at 103 Canada Street. Once on scene, deputies located (V) Houston Scott and learned he was the victim of a stabbing. Scott suffered a small puncture wound to his abdomen.
 
The Ventura County Fire Department and Life Line Medical were summoned to the scene. Scott was uncooperative with investigators and further refused to be transported to the hospital. Scott later sought medical care on his own at the Ojai Hospital.
 
The ensuing investigation led to the identification of (S) Alexander Barrios of Oak View as being involved in the altercation. Barrios was located in the area of the stabbing and eventually placed under arrest for 245(a) PC, assault with a deadly weapon.
