Motor vehicle collision occurred on W. South Ave (RT28) near Palsted. Utility pole struck causing down wires. Roadway closed. Avoid Area. 
A motor vehicle collision occurred on W. South Ave (Rt 28) near the intersection of Palsted. As a result of the collision a utility police was impacted and powerlines are in the roadway. The road is now closed due to this issue. Avoid the area is possible. PSE & G was notified and making an assessment. There is no ETA for when the roadway will be reopened. A detour will be put in place for the time being.
