Jason Halcomb was arrested for attempted murder after stabbing the victim and causing multiple injuries

SUSPECT: Jason Halcomb, 30 year old resident of Wonder Valley
VICTIM: Confidential, 36-year-old female, resident of Wonder Valley
SUMMARY:
On February 11, 2021 at 1:36 a.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a report of the victim being assaulted by a male with a knife. The suspect was identified as Jason Halcomb. When deputies arrived on scene, the victim had multiple injuries due to the assault and Halcomb had fled the scene. An arrest warrant for Jason Halcomb was obtained for attempted murder. Deputies and detectives continued searching for Halcomb through the early morning hours.
On February 11, 2021 at 9:40 am, deputies located Jason Halcomb in Wonder Valley and arrested him for the warrant. Halcomb was booked at Morongo Basin Jail for P.C. 664/187 - Attempted Murder and is currently being held without bail.
