Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the stabbing and beating death of a man. The incident was reported Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Compton Creek north of Del Amo Boulevard in Rancho Dominguez.
Carson Station deputies were conducting a patrol check of Compton Creek when they saw a large carpet rolled up. When they checked inside the carpet, they located a male Hispanic adult who had been beaten and stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death, age and identity will be determined by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner- Coroner.
There is no suspect information and no known motive for this incident.
